Privacy Policy

ReaderMind (“the app”, “we”, “us”) helps you read, summarize, and study articles with AI assistance. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. We do not show third-party ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account email. When you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address. We use it solely to create and authenticate your account.
  • Your content. Articles you submit (URLs and article text) and the AI-generated material derived from them — summaries, Q&A, highlights, and primers — are stored in our backend (Supabase) so the app can save and sync your library.

How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To deliver core features: your article content is sent to our AI gateway to generate summaries, Q&A, highlights, and primers. AI processing happens only to provide these features that you request.
  • Your content is never used for advertising, cross-app tracking, or sold to anyone.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscription status is managed via RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the app: Supabase (data storage and authentication), our self-hosted AI gateway (to generate your summaries and Q&A), and RevenueCat (subscription status). We do not share data with advertising or tracking networks, and we do not sell your data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (“Delete Account”). This permanently and irreversibly removes your account and cascades the deletion of all associated data — your profile, saved articles, summaries, Q&A, highlights, and primers.

Data Retention

We retain your content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed as described above.

Children

ReaderMind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
